Vita Actives and BDI-BioLife Science Seal Distribution Partnership for ASTAFIT® Astaxanthin

Vita Actives, a leading supplier of innovative nutraceutical ingredients, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Austria-based BDI-BioLife Science, granting Vita Actives exclusive distribution rights for the ASTAFIT® natural astaxanthin range in the UK and selected Europe countries.

The collaboration brings together Vita Actives’ extensive market reach and technical expertise with BDI-BioLife Science’s advanced mixotroph cultivation technology and commitment to sustainability. ASTAFIT® is renowned for its high-quality, natural astaxanthin derived from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, cultivated using BDI’s proprietary closed photo bio reactor cultivation process in highly engineered state-of-the-art facilities in Hartberg, Austria.

ASTAFIT® offers a versatile portfolio of astaxanthin formulations, including oleoresins, water dispersible microencapsulated beadlets, and water-soluble mycellized Astaxanthin, suitable for various applications such as capsules, powders, and functional beverages.
