Rioja Nature Pharma took part in the WeFood 2025 National Forum on Food Trends, organised by Grupo Cajamar, one of Spain’s most relevant events focused on the future of food and health.
The company’s Technical Director, Rebeca Peñalva, participated in the session “Food and Health”, where she presented Rioja Nature Pharma’s production model — a company that, as she explained, “does not manufacture just another capsule, but develops real, safe and science-based nutraceutical solutions.”
During her presentation, Peñalva outlined the company’s approach to transforming ideas into products with high quality standards, full traceability and scientific evidence, combining technological rigour with a clear international vision. From its facilities in La Rioja, the company supplies supplements to brands across the globe, while remaining attentive to the major trends shaping the future of the nutraceutical industry: precision nutrition, microbiome 2.0, women’s health, emotional well-being and the new GLP-1 scenario.

She also addressed the technical and regulatory challenges facing the sector, such as the increasing complexity of product matrices, the need to meet quasi-pharmaceutical quality standards, compliance with international regulations, and the impact of digitalisation and sustainability in manufacturing processes.
Rioja Nature Pharma thanked the organisers for the invitation to take part in this important event for the food and health industries and for the opportunity to share its perspective on how innovation in nutraceuticals can be achieved with rigour, responsibility and scientific credibility.
With its ongoing commitment to excellence, Rioja Nature Pharma continues to work to lead the future of nutraceutical manufacturing from La Rioja to the world.
