The Fi Europe Innovation Awards, held at Fi Europe 2021 co-located with Hi Europe, celebrate people, companies and organisations breaking new ground in the Food & Beverage industry.
With the support of leading Food & Beverage associations and media partners, the Fi Innovation Awards have become the most prestigious awards in the Food & Beverage industry.
This year for the first time, the Future of Nutrition Award* will acknowledge a person or team for actively contributing to and supporting pioneering ideas or innovative educational initiatives in food and nutrition, likely to positively impact the health and well-being of consumers.
Achievements in various categories will be assessed by an esteemed jury of industry professionals, chaired by Prof. Colin Dennis, Chair Board of Trustees at IFIS and the BNF . The categories are Future of Nutrition, Sensory Innovation, Plant-based Innovation, Diversity & Inclusion Innovation, Clean Label & Natural Innovation, Health Innovation, Food Tech Innovation, Sustainability Innovation.
Prof. Dennis said: “Innovation in the food industry is vital to its future success, in meeting consumer and market needs, with people and planet health, and diversity and inclusivity being the key drivers for companies. Innovations in processes, ingredients and products continue to deliver nutritional benefits and/or new sensory experiences. The Fi Europe Innovation Awards recognise the many exciting developments in all these areas and illustrate the pace of innovation in the sector. I very much look forward to working with colleagues on judging the entries for 2021.”
