Dextrose monohydrate is colorless or white crystalline powder,odourless,with a sweet taste.It is soluble in water,slightly soluble in ethanol.In food industry,it is used in baking and beverage to enhance taste and color.It is also used in pharmaceutical and chemical industry as nutrient solution to produce oral injection, intravenous injection,and blood or peritoneal dialysis.
