FLOWACTIVES® microcapsules of borage seeds oil, produced through coacervation, make the active ingredient particularly resistant to oxidation and peroxide degradation. These microcapsules can be incorporated into solid oral formulations—especially hard capsules and sachets—while preserving the oil’s natural nutritional properties.
Borage seed oil is widely used and increasingly recognized as a natural anti-inflammatory supplement, thanks to its exceptionally high content of GLA (Gamma-Linolenic Acid)—one of the highest among all seed oils. GLA is an essential Omega-6 fatty acid that the body cannot synthesize and must obtain from external sources. As a polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), the GLA in borage oil is valued not only for its anti-inflammatory benefits but also for its potential anti-aging effects.
