At Nordwell, we specialize in the wholesale supply of premium marine collagen Type I derived from sustainably sourced cod skin. Our two newly constructed, state-of-the-art, government licensed and BRSC certified production facilities, located on the north and south coasts of Iceland, are strategically positioned just a stone's throw from the prime fishing grounds. This proximity allows us to guarantee the freshness of our raw materials from MSC certified fisheries and maintain the highest quality standards in our collagen production. We are committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, sourcing only from sustainable fishing stocks.
Our unique production process employs gentle and clean methods, preserving the integrity and beneficial properties of the collagen while ensuring minimal impact on the environment. Our hydrolyzed method breaks down proteins into smaller collagen peptides, enhancing the body’s ability to absorb them. This makes our production a valuable supplement for the F&B industry, pharmaceuticals, health and nutrition and quality pet food producers.

Iceherbs (Íslensk fjallagrös) was founded in 1993 by a number of private and public companies together with several municipalities. The idea behind creating Iceherbs hf. was to utilize the untapped potential of Iceland moss, which had hitherto only been exported unprocessed.
In 2016 the natural supplement division of Iceherbs was separated into new company Natturusmidjan ehf. The company has remained true to these roots while expanding its range to include products sourced from other natural Icelandic resources.
The history of Iceherbs bears witness to the great deal of ingenuity, hard work and expense put into the company, but our main strength still lies in our use of high-quality raw material sourced from the unpolluted environment of Icelandic nature.
